blondie your plate is so full, I keep you in my prayers.  So glad to hear that SIL is cancer free.  Hoping for many helping hands to rebuild the house that burned.

fishdad, Heath and the others are in my daily prayers.  You are as well.

Hello all. We'd ask for prayer for Heath once again. He's never completely recovered from everything last year and we found out this week that it may be caused a by pocket of infection that has lingered since last year. That would be 15 months of fighting this infection. He'll be getting a test (a rather unpleasant one) this coming Thursday (Wednesday evening, our time) to determine what is going on. They are telling him to prepare for at least 6 months of intensive antibiotics if they find what they are expecting to find. Please pray for healing for him once and for all and pray that we may be able to get him State Side for his care. Thanks so much.

For everyone in the path of Frankenstorm...be safe.

Singing God's Praises!

SIL, no Cancer!! still needs to see lung specialist but what a relief! she's already a one time survivor.

Sailor got a 2 min. call to wish us a happy anns. so she got the good news (her aunt and God mother) one less thing for her to worry about, she can keep her head/thoughts where they need to be.

Nephew's fire....started in his son's (Ethan's room) luckily Ethan was at his Mother's that night!  SAVED THE BASEMENT AND FOUNDATION....will have to tear off drywall ect....and then re-build the house part.

update on my life.

nephew (whom we raised) house burnt down but all humans and animals are okay, hoping to use this Indian Summmer God is giving us to get new one under roof so we can work on it all winter.

Grandson is in safe place right now.

sailor is in an undisclosed location but excited and happy (alittle anxious) has been very busy and on the go these past 2 wks. but called sunday night to tell us she was back in DC for a couple days and safe/happy and then moving to undisclosed location, not to worry if we didn't hear from her. she'd call/visit for the holidays as able.  Thank you Father for the short calls, Peace of mind and Your Love, Faith and constant care.  We ask that You keep allour Military in Your loving arms. Amen

What struck me most during my visit with the 24-year-old veteran at Walter Reed wasn't seeing a young man with no legs. It was 1st Lt. Vogt's bright, optimistic smile.

Any news on Heath?

Jose, the 30th will be here before you know it!  So Excited!!!  pack the cameria, extra batteries or charger, kleenex.....My sailor was a grad-n-go so we never got to leave base but did get to eat with her...so prim and proper with cover and arm palcements etc....and people saluting!  almost got elbowed in eye a couple times so wathc out. lol  Prayers for safe travels and lots of time with your son.

one more prayer request please.

MomP's daughter update. She refractured her pelvis during PRT this last week. They are gonna do MRI doctor says they may have to put pins or plate in. Plus her leg has a fracture now too. It's been a year since she first did it while in basic. I keep telling myself she's at Walter Reed best place for her to be for this. Praying for the best..Please keep the sailor her doctors and family in your hearts. Thank you.

Jose,  Plan to get to the ceremony as early as you can.  Traffic will be heavy getting into the gate if you wait and seating is limited in the Ceremony Hall.  There will be a kiosk in the hall for you to buy Navy hats and cool basic training stuff.  You will get to see your son right after the graduation ceremony.  What a great moment you will have with your boy.  Since he will be in dress uniform, don't be disappointed if you don't get an off the ground embrace from him.  I could go on and on...

Jose,  How are you and your family holding up?  Have you heard from your son?  You should be able to see his graduation date soon on the website.  When you go to the graduation in Great Lakes, be sure to have your son take you to the NX so you can buy lots of cool Navy stuff.

Hope you are doing good.
