Part of the Official e-mail
At approximately 1840 Saturday evening, Airman Apprentice .....fell from the flight deck of USS GEORGE WASHINGTON, landing on a Chinese vessel that was moored alongside. Medical personnel responded to the scene and found him unresponsive to life saving measures. This has been a tough loss for the DIAMONDBACKS, but we are coping well at the moment. It will still take a good deal of time to get through the grieving process and finally come to terms with this tragedy. He is sorely missed. his name has sensed been released.

also join me in prayer for
a young father (Army ) that was killed in Afghan.
The young father is from Rockford.

Praise be to God!  Never doublt God does answer Prayers.

keep my daughter close to your hearts she Officially starts work today at her new station!  YEAH  after 4 weeks of screw up.  I told her to take it as a reward for the past 5 yrs.  she said or of things to come.  lol  I told her as she gets older she'll learn to only think posative thoughts and be thankful for the what she is given.  I know God goes with her so she will be fine.

I want to thank everyone again for their thoughts and prayers recently.  I heard from my son last night and he has been sleeping well once again.  Its amazing that I can hear it in his words that he is rested.  What a great idea to put this group room together for our sailors.

Thank you Forrest for sharing your Faith and allowing us to pray for your son and family. (and a peek into your life).  I believe we grow by praying for others and showing compassion.  it's a Win~Win situation.  you get your prayers multiplied and we grow in our Faith.
