Navy Prayers: This is for anyone to post prayer request. We need a quiet place to go and leave prayer requests and to read them and pray for those requests. This is nondenominational. Please feel free to leave a prayer request or to take a moment and pray.

Hi Blondie, Thank you for your prayers. Yes, he has an i-pod, so hopefully that is helping. He e-mailed me the other day and said sleep is better. Again, thanks for the prayers.
Thank you Rick...

all by the Grace of God.
"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower." - Psalm 18:2
"Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

"Hear, O LORD, my righteous plea; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer--it does not rise from deceitful lips." - Psalm 17:1
The way you come to fully appreciate the infusion of the Spirit is to more and more come fully into the moment, where this moment is enough.

Forest gald to hear he's getting use to it and sleeping alittle. does he have an i-pod? God will get him thru this.
More prayers for Heath...if it's meant to be God will bring them back together later on down the path. How is his dis-charge coming?
I am in North Dakota and went for a walk yesterday. The trail took me underneath an overpass. I stood under the bridge and listened as cars flew over the top, and wondered if the sounds made by the vehicle's tires hitting the cracks in the road sounded anything like recovering jets on the carrier.
Prayer updates have been slow coming in from my son, but he says he is starting to sleep some. Basically 2 hours at a time, but is trying to work into a routine and watch his diet. I can tell by the way he writes that he is exhausted, but hangin' in there. Thank you for your prayers. They are making a difference.
Jim, Yep, that's where by son's rack is, directly under the wires.
my daughter and son both said that in the absence of hearing the cat shots and traps they had trouble sleeping....a quiet environment was more disruptful to sleep than life on the carrier!
Prayers going up for Forrest's son and Heath. even when I'm not here I'm praying. we were in DC for 10 days, (record breaking heat) came home to 54degrees at night (like to have froze) 2 days later the heat wave (now after 15 days, they've termed it, Stupid Hot!) Lots of storms and electricity outage....blah, blah, blah. under heat advisory (110-120 today) red flags have been up for weeks. we need rain but been praying for CO. crops are mostly shot, what didn't dry-out, got cut off by the hail (golfball-baseball size) Just like the rest of the US. anywho was away from computers, then super busy at work trying to catch-up from vacation, 4 deaths/funerals, still under construction at work (finish date 12th??? PLEASE) put in no electricity.....Life stinks but still Praising God, we are all well.
Daughter/sailor is settled in DC finally has a home. waiting on slow boat from china (actually Japan) for her stuff to arrive. sleeping on air mattress, has a toilet and paper! lol (gotta keep your humor) she muster's in by phone once a day. some better...has her DIA badge and Pentagon says her security is high enough she can go anywhere she wants but.....still waiting on paperwork and Pentagon badge, air force and army to get their stuff together. her bestest friend went out for 4th of July, so they've been traveling and having a blast. she still calls or texts everyday. she finally got internet yesterday so planning a skype date, she wants to see her nephew. It's just GREAT having her back in the States!
