Navy Prayers: This is for anyone to post prayer request. We need a quiet place to go and leave prayer requests and to read them and pray for those requests. This is nondenominational. Please feel free to leave a prayer request or to take a moment and pray.

From Nicks dad, Steve:
We are in Richmond VA now with Nick. The transfer went well, but he appears worn out from the trip. We are too. Over the last couple days at Walter Reed there were many visits from the doctors, nurses and therapists that, at various times, were at his side getting him through some pretty tough times. Nick is now starting into a new phase of recovery due to answered prayers and exceptional medical care by many Walter Reed National Military Medical Center medical staff individuals. To these wonderful people and the people that got him from the battlefield to WRNMMC, Sheila and I will always be grateful for their part in giving us more time with Nick. We look forward to the return to Walter Reed with a further recovered Nick. (Steve)

glad you had a nice visit and made it home safely. I hope this morning found you feeling better. Rest in God, you work hard...you need to relax and give your body time to heal. Abide in Him, others can pull the load. Since we have backed down a little and eased up I find I have more time to be "friends" with Christ.....Much rewarding. we have been disciplined, pruned and now reap the harvest for the Lord.
any news from Heath? mine is still "out" so no contact.
news from Nick
• Watching a movie with Nick and quietly giving thanks for his continuing healing. We are looking forward to the move to Richmond VA hospital for the next phase of Nick's recovery. Nick is recalling many things about his time in Afganistan. He does not remember the day he was wounded. He recently learned of the death of his radio man, Spc. Calvin Pereda. He remembers him well and said he was an excellent soldier. He took the news of Spc. Pereda's death very hard. We now include this great soldier in our daily prayers. (Steve)
Blondie,
You are a good soul. Sorry we just missed you. We had a nice visit with a gentleman from Nicks church. It was nice to meet up with someone who knows and love him. They are all so excited about him being moved to Richmond. Their church is lovely. Next time we're through we will definitely meet up. This concussion is getting the best of me or we would have stuck around.
Hope you have a wonderful week.
God bless.
Compassion is not religious business, it is human business, it is not luxury, it is essential for our own peace and mental stability, it is essential for human survival.

thanks April, I'll pass your message on.
YEAH Nick!!! You are one tough fella and God has had your back. Best wishes to you as you continue to recover.
• From Nick:
"It's been a long time on the way, but I'm finally back with ol' FB. Thanks to every one for the help, support, and prayers so much. Life is getting a little better each day!"
"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." - Romans 12:12
LOL, not hardly but I do try to follow where God leads me. Our house is always open and an extra plate set at the table, you never know when Jesus may visit. help(love) your neighbor.....I've never met a stranger.
no pressure fishdad, but if you want to be my "Jesus", I will be your "saint" (follower/server) and sit at your feet and hear your story and gather wisdom from above. I will wash your feet and give you Peace and rest. We could even do the laying of the hands if you wish. In all seriousness, my home is here if you need it.
