Nick had a rough morning. He is still in the grip of a stubborn infection. Had a fever which made him to sick for operating room. Part of the work planned for OR was done at bedside. It went OK. After some medication and other fluids he perked up this afternoon. He is breathing with very little help from ventilator. May try "off the vent" tomorrow. Dear St. Anthony, please intercede and carry our prayers to Christ, that Nick's infection be removed from his body. Amen. (Steve)

AMEN

Heavenly Father, wrap your loving arms around Cora, may she feel your and our Love for her.  thank you for her doctors, may her recovery be fast and complete.  As always I lift-up Nick, Tom, Heath and all those who are sick or wounded; Protection to our Military and comfort to their families. Your will be done, just be with us and give us strength to carry on. Amen

Just talked with one of our own.  Cora had a surgical procedure today and is doing well.  It's not to often that we post on one another but keep Cora in your prayers and she is doing well.

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. John 14:1

Faith is not believing that God can. It is knowing that He will. ♥

Yesterday was another good day. Had a procedure done in his room that went well. More visit time with grandparents. Another stroll in the wheelchair. Today he is going to the operating room for wound and skin graph maintenance. Nick's breathing has gotten stronger over the last several days. Sounds like they may do a trial today at taking him off of the ventilator after he wakes up from surgery. (Steve)

Another good day of healing for Nick. A busy day. A visit from his commanding General. A visit from his Grandparents. A cruise in his wheelchair to the outside for some fresh air. And to top it all off, he was allowed to have broken up pieces of cherry Popsicle. Praise God for answered prayers. (Steve)..

• The Lord knows your heart and hears your prayers. You are still on his mind and He is still in control. "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Gratitude places you in the energy field of plentitude. Perceiving life in a consciousness of gratitude is literally stepping into another dimension of living. Suddenly the seeming ordinariness of your days takes on a divine sparkle.

• Another day of healing for Nick. Sheila is back at home for a much deserved break with the rest of the family. The next surgery for Nick is scheduled for Monday. Praying for several more peaceful days of healing. Nick declared today that he was addicted to ice chips (the only thing that he can put into his mouth). I hope this "addition" won't require any serious counseling.

glad to see Sheila is taking a much needed break and that Nick gets a few days to rest before next surgery.  Love the humor!

thank you Father for seeing us through.

Indeed, it was a blessed day, fishdad.  Tell Nick we are all cheering for him and sending prayers daily to the Father on his behalf.  Yours too.
