Same to you blondie.  We did have a wonderful day yesterday, only one missing was our Sailor.  But he is safe, has some family close by, and is in God's hands.  Hopefully he'll get to come home after Christmas for a visit.

We hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. Giving thanks to God for all of the wonderful blessings in life is always important to do. God is so good all the time, even when we don't quite realize it.

Our prayers go out to the family of the Sailor lost on the USS Essex yesterday. May God help them through this most difficult time.

@We are praising God with you Sheila! I was able to share this update with the 1200 people that attended our church tonight. I asked them to continue to keep both you and Nick in their prayers. So many stopped us after church to assure us that they are indeed praying and will continue to do so. Please let us know when you reach Walter Reed. I'm sure that someone will let you know about the Fisher house. If there is anything that we can do to be of any help, please, please let us know. We are praying hard!!

- via Sheila Vogt - "Great news! Through the night Nick "fully" woke up. He looks great. Everyone is very excited. He can't speak due to the trake but he understands what is being said to him. He acknowledges commands and has even given a "thumbs up". He is a very popular guy this morning. We are off to Walter Reed. Give thanks to God for He is good!"

Quess what I am giving Thanks for this Thanksgiving?

Robin, thank you SO much, I am forwarding all the messages and I know they appreciate them, they're just a little busy right now.  I'm sure you understand.  We are very Blessed to have this prayer group and the one on Navyformoms.

I'd be happy to talk with Sheila at any time. Bethesda is about 5 hours from us, but if things slow down at work at all and I could make it down there, I'd be happy to. Just let her know that we have a lot of people praying. And please tell her, from one mommas heart to another, God hears our prayers, He never leaves our children's side. He gives the strength we need when we need it. We are praying day and night.
