just checking in,  looks like no crisis, thank you God.  I have exciting news, Sailor called me for my b-day also recieve this picture it's from a few months ago......took her hours to get the braids and beads out of her hair and sand Everywhere!

Best news, she got the okay to come home for her brother's wedding next Jan.!  so we are doing the dance of Joy and Singing God's Praises.

Jim, 

Will and his family are in our prayers. I wish I had known he was in Bethesda. We were there on Friday. In the oncology dept. It would have been our honor to stop and see him and his mom and to offer them some ecouragement. Does anyone have an address for him?

this is a borrowed prayer, but forgive me I don't remember which mom gave it to me.

Dear Lord,

Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between a mother's love and duty to country.

Give me understanding that I may know, when duty calls them they must go.

Give me a task to do each day, to fill my thoughts when they're away.

And Lord, when they're in a foreign land, keep them safe in your loving hand.

And Lord, when duty is in the field, please protect them and be their shield.

And Lord, when deployment is so long, please give me the support to remain strong.

Oh Cora. I'm so sorry. I know what you're going through. We've lost seven in the past year. It really is a difficult season. I'm praying that God will give you the right words that will somehow bring comfort to your son. You'll be in my prayers.
