Cora, Love your poster on courage, hadn't seen that one before.
Jim, prayers going up and will start the prayer line going.
fishdad, Japan mom's want to know if we can get a picture of Heath? sorry, us mom's adopt these kids as our own.
Cora, I'm praying for you. You have so much to carry right now. Praying that you get some relief from pain and that you feel Gods strength.
Jim,
I'm so sorry to hear about your sons friend. I cannot imagine going through something so difficult so very far from home ...well, yes, I can. And because of that I know how to pray for him. Your son will be such a blessing to his friend. I'll be praying that God gives him the strength to encourage his friend. I'm praying that this young man gets to come home to the States very, very soon.
God bless you guys.
Robin
keep the faith Cora...praying you get some relief as the meds kick in...understand the carpal tunnel...my hands are about shot...not a good thing for a chemist that has to handle glassware all day!!!

Happy Birthday fishdad and God's blessing upon your family and weekend. we are celebrating our 30th wedding this weekend, just us 2. which we have been looking forward too, no busy, busy, no hassels ect... but sad too for our 25th the kids did everything up right, we re-said our wedding vows after mass on saturday night and then they had paid for a suite at a resort for us (hot-tub included in room) picnic basket supper/champaign delivered to out room we could eat on balcony, in woods.....next day when we got home our house was full of fostered kids, adopted kids, youth group ect... and the youth band played "our song" and they insisted we danced (and yes, i cried) and they all took pictures, the men's quartet (my son was in) sang....it was a wonderful weekend! as much as I KNOW I'm going to enjoy this weekend....I miss my sailor and kids! LOL once a mom always a mom!
praying the rain stops soon, we've broke all the records so it can quit anytime now. still praying for all those who work out in it.
Hi Blondie,
Heath is doing well. Still gaining weight. Beginning to regain his strength. We'll be seeing a Doc at NNMC soon, so we should know more then how they feel he is doing.
Praying for all of you dealing with the flooding issues.
I haven't received anymore information on the Sailor lost in Yokosuka last week. We are still in prayer for the shipmates and family.
We're also continuing to pray for you Cora and your friends family, as well as for Tom.
Hope that you all enjoy the upcoming weekend. I will be enjoying the best birthday present ever...a weekend with all of my kids. Couldn't ask the Lord for more. It means more to me than ever before.
God bless,
Robin
Amen, that's why we have each other and this group, to keep us strong. glad to hear you got work.
Thanks Blondie. After more than 8 weeks with no job now I have two and am working 7 nights a week. We are not having any flood issues right now. That is good because we have many that are still trying to repair homes. Our little church is still trying to repair. Will pray for everyone to be safe from the water. Praying for Heath and Tom. Life is tough so we have to remain tougher.
any news on Heath or Tom? Crystal hoping all is well, we are under a flood watch since 2 am this morning an they are calling for another 2-3 inches by tomorrow and rain continuing into fri. hope everyone stays safe, praying for all those who work out in this weather or drive for a living.
