Counting Blessings

These are all true facts and they really make you think and appreciate what you have...

~ If you woke up this morning with more health than illness...you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.

~ If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.

~ If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.

~ If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of the world.

~ If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace...you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.

~ If your parents are still alive and still married...you are very rare, even in the United States.

~ If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful...you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.

~ If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder...you are blessed because you can offer healing touch.

~ If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

Realization

There are many things in life we take for granted. This is a creative write-up that really shows the value of things we often don't even think twice about.

To realize

The value of a sister

~ Ask someone who doesn't have one.

To realize

The value of ten years:

~ Ask a newly divorced couple.

To realize

The value of four years:

~ Ask a graduate.

To realize

The value of one year:

~ Ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize

The value of nine months:

~ Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.

To realize

The value of one month:

~ Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize

The value of one week:

~ Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize

The value of one hour:

~ Ask two lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize

The value of one minute:

~ Ask a person who has missed a train, bus or plane.

To realize

The value of one-second:

~ Ask a person who has survived an accident.

To realize

The value of one millisecond:

~ Ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

To realize the value of a friend:

~ Lose one

Time waits for no one, treasure every moment you have.

Trouble creates a capacity to handle it....meet it as a friend, for you'll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it.

(Deu 31:6 NKJV) "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

What an encouraging verse to assure us that we are not alone.

No matter what happens in our lives, God, the Mighty One, the Holy One, the Savoir of this world, Abba Father, Alpha and Omega is always with us and will never leave us, nor forsake us!!

Rejoice in this today...we are safe in Him!!

My home town was flooded 9/7/2011. They are handing out Moldex to help people clean around here.

Hello all, haven't been on in a long time. I wanted to check to see how Heath was doing and that is great he is home and gaining weight.

I have prayer request for a friend, Blondie will know who I am talking about. My friend on one of my other sites on N4M's is having many problems right now. Her husband may lose his job if they don't get their truck fixed and their son is having all kinds of troubles and is stressed at school. They have mold in their house too and can't seem to get rid of it. She needs so many prayers right now and I know their are many who need prayers but I thought I would ask for her. Thanks ahead of time. Oh does anyone know how to get mold and mildew out of a house without professionals doing it?
