Navy Prayers: This is for anyone to post prayer request. We need a quiet place to go and leave prayer requests and to read them and pray for those requests. This is nondenominational. Please feel free to leave a prayer request or to take a moment and pray.

I'm so sorry about the set-back, will get my prayer warriors on it. do you have an address we can send encouraging words and boxes his way?
Another incredibly difficult day. We got word that Heath was being taken by ambulance back to the hospital with sever abdominal pain. It turns out that he has a bowel obstruction. They've inserted a tube to try to help. They are going to observe him for a while and see if it will clear up on it's on. If not, more surgery. Please, please keep him in your prayers. I honestly don't know how much more this kid can take. Thanks.
9/25/11 For Fishdad. Thanks for the update on Heath. I have had him on my prayer list since 8/15/11. The article says to keep praying for him, per his mom. I've been wanting to find out the latest, but each time I go over my prayer requests, I end up putting the sheet back on the Bible, as out of habit. This morning I left it OUT! Will keep up the prayers!
Prayers going up for Don, His grandmother and all family members. god has him in the palm of his hand. As I read your post my heart stopped and I said OH NO! But I have to tell you I heard God whisper in my ear...I have this one. Thank you Father for hearing our hearts.
A prayer request...a young man that we've known most of his life who is a Marine has had yet another family tragedy this week. Several years ago his mother killed his father and then took her own life, in front of him. Then right after he finished basics, his only sister took her life. He was being raised by his grandparents, and terribly, this week his grandfather also took his life. We are just overwhelmed with sorrow for this young man. He's only 21 and I cannot imagine what this is going to do to him. He has been very close to his grandfather. He is currently serving in Iraq and we're unsure if he's been notified yet. His name is Don. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.
Can you see the holiness in those things you take for granted – a paved road or a washing machine? If you concentrate on finding what is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul.

this is from one of our Youth kids, he's 22 now but Wow!
You will be different. Sometimes, you will feel like an outcast, but you will never be alone. You will make my strength your own. You will see my life through your eyes as your life will be seen through mine. The son becomes the father, and the father becomes the son.
Dany, I have been there myself. Great advice. God and my prayer life is what got me through. and my great family of course and navydads and navyformom's but without God I could have never made it. He makes my physical problems barable and my cross lite. Prayers going up for those going through it now, those who have been there to stay strong and that no others have to but if they do that they turn to God.
"O LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress." - Isaiah 33:2
My heart is moved tonight to ask for prayers for those struggling with depression. I have recently come through a very deep trough myself. The Lord has brought me through it and things are getting a lot better. But, I know that many suffer in silence with this terrible emotional disorder. Please pray for those who are suffering from depression. If you know someone struggling, don't "give them their space." Take it from me, all that empty space and alone with your thoughts is the last place they need to be. My faith and my family brought me through this last phase. I thank God for a wife and children who care and who reminded me that there are things worth struggling for each and every day.
