Gerald it's great to hear you heard from Michael. I hope he's doing well. It is tough on our children being cut off from us. You should join the group bootcamp. Their are other dads with children in BC right now and others helping answer questions that have already experienced it. What is Michael going to do in the Navy? keep in touch and join some groups they will help.

We got a call tonight from Michael! He is home sick and wishes we all could be there with him. I reminded him that he only has 25 days left and he needs to buckle down and work hard like he did in school. It was so nice to hear his voice.

Welcome aboard, Gerald. Glad to have you as part of team. Tell us a little about Michael, his current status and plans. I have found Navy Dads and NavyforMoms to be a great resource of information and support while our children transition and serve. Hope it's an encouragement to you as well.
