New Dad Here

Hi All,

 

I'm new here so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm the Father/Dad of 7 kids, 5 boys & 2 girls. No that isn't a mistake......I have 7 kids. My wife is a saint!! She has 8!!! LOL. If you don't figure that one out ask me about it, I will explain it.

 

Anyway on to why I am here. Our oldest is 17 and has decided that he will be joining the Navy. He is hoping to DEP and become an SO. I thought I would join here to learn more and help him to prepare for DEP.

 

I also have a sister that is a Chief (14+ years). She is an NC stationed at Great Lakes, her husband is a retired Chief (24 years) and I have a cousin that is a retired Chief (20+ years) as well. I personally have no military experience but they are invaluable resources for both my son and me.

 

Looking forward to meeting some of the members here and learning everything that I can.

  My son is an AE with a patrol squadron.  He is currently deployed and id is due back in the states later this spring.
