All his Navy friends ask why the hell he did SERE, and he can't tell them. I want to brag, and I can't. Pooh.

When I was on active duty (69-73) all UDT/SEAL, Marine Recon, Naval and Marine Aviators and aviation flight personnel were required to attend school for obvious reasons. They were more likely to get captured. I would say the same holds true today for all all Navy, Marine, Air Force, and Army Spec Ops and avaitors.
