A retired Navy SEAL with 30 years of service has been stricken with ALS. His name is Gary Welt. If you can help financially or any other way check out the Red Circle Foundation or the Navy SEAL Foundation and make a donation. Red Circle goes directly to Gary.

One SR sent one hand written letter so far, his twin brother has sent 3.

I got two calls from each. They called on their arrival, and again this weekend. The first call was 90 seconds. The second call they were given about 40 minutes, but my SR's split it up between mom and dad and their Girl friends. The call home was about 24 minutes. If our SRs are a week ahead of your SR. You need to be available for a call next weekend Friday and Saturday evening. One called Friday and the other on Saturday. They both called at about 17:00.

@ladyhawk...... I have twin sons in ship 4 div 804 and 805 they graduate 01 FEB 2013. These divisions are just slightly ahead of 806. Maybe one week ahead.

common sense should dictate not to send that sort of stuff......but I guess if it was common everyone would have it !

if you're lucky you'll get three calls.......you are entitled to two.  Letters vary a lot depending on your sailor.....

Ladyhawk, my son just re-enlisted and is a ND2, he said that there are too many 2C divers and some are not being able to re-up and or being asked to change ratings if they want to stay in the Navy.
