Our son will report to Pensacola from the RTC in mid-November to begin the CTT-AEF training. I believe he will be starting out with 9 weeks of CTT Prep. School at NATTC. This will be followed by 9 weeks of A school and 18 weeks of C school.
My son has just recently arrived for his "A" school(CTN). His class doesn't start until January. He was told that CT's have the second largest drop out rate behind the seals. Any truth to this from anybody who's kids have already gone through "A"
My SA recently graduated from BC and was sent to Pensacola to begin his CTT training, he has been put on hold. I believe our SA is fortunate because he is being trained for a temporary position, rate,until they have enough SAs. Better than counting

Our sailor PIR'd last Fri 11/6, and is now heading for DLI in Monterey, CA, to begin CTI A school. Would appreciate any comments/ info on same...facilities, classing up, quarters, etc.
My daughter will also be headed to Monterey. My wife has asked me to already start looking for vacation homes and hotels in the area. I figure we can post things we find in this discussion to help each other.
