Ok, I'm ready. I've got things in order, I think, on what I'm taking. I'm pretty excited to say the least. Not to long now. Paul, I'll be seeing you at the airport in Atlanta, and I'll try to have my seat change to next to yours, you said yours was 22F. I've got both yours and Fred's cell numbers too.

I haven't got the duffel bag out yet but I've been trying to figure what to take and wear. Now that I have some great shirts to wear. I figured I'd wear one on the plane from Maui to Florida. That's going to be a long A-- two days. 12 1/2 hours just in flight time. I'll be leaving hear on the night of the fourteenth and arrive in Florida at 3:45pm on the fifteenth.

had an e-mail from Eric, generally about the upcoming cruise:

"What to bring, towel, wash rag, soap, flipper floppers, deodorant, tooth brush and paste, I have q-tips, jeans, tees, a light jacket would work good, but a sweaters just as good. I have a jacket if need be you can wear. Other than that that’s about it. Oyeah, bring some old tennis shoes or boots. Boots would prolly work better, but eh. Your call. Non skid's vicious on tennis shoes, and boots tend to be better for clomping around out here. But ive been wearing mine for ever so im used to boots. Razor, blades, odd ball s%$@, hockey puck……you get the idea. Be expected to be bored though. Its twelve hours of shear blah. Oh bring a blanket if you wish. The ones we have here are wool and itch like hell. I have a sleeping bag so I don’t use the blankets. Im looking for a rack for you, ill try and grab a middle one. Easier to get in and out, well sort of. "

There was an additional line about squishing certain parts of the male body that really don't like to be squished when getting out of the rack...but I figure this is a family website so I'd clean it up........

From an E-mail from Eric about Tiger Cruise Prep:

Some quick things to dwell on, pack light, jeans, tees, shoes and of corse towel, flip flops (shower shoes) and kit for the bathroom. Bring something to sleep in, sweats or something as it gets down right cold in the berthing at night. I wouldn’t worry about much else, electronics id leave, just grab camera and phone. Lighter you pack the better off, as space is limited and getting around with a big ass bag is a pain in the ass. Kinda like your going camping just without bugs, fires (hopefully), bears and other critters that eat people. For bathroom id pack your own soap, in a soap container thingy, wash cloth if you like, razor and shampoo . your definetly going to want shower shoes, trust me on this.

I figured you did. As for my shirt size, it is XL.

I've been thinking about too....since we're guests of the Navy I don't want to wear out my welcome, so to speak, by trying a hard sell.....but I have some passive ideas and will try to prepare....you and Richard are part of that plan...I need your tee-shirt sizes as I have something for you when we get to Florida!!

Paul, I think the cruise would also be good marketing chance to promote more membership for NavyDads. If you have already thought about it what do you think would be a good way to pass the word?
