  • Rose,

Your more than welcome to have a separations group on here. I'm sure many families will benefit from your insight. In my opinion Navy Families with separated recruits will benefit greatly from your group and the knowledge with in it. I'm sure many families have experienced and will experience this sad reality. So having a group that explains the process and emotions is great. Be assured, bashing or attacking on this group will not be tolerated. I look forward to seeing this group help others in the same situation.

    Thanks, E.G.
  • Rose, Welcome Aboard!

When my son first enlisted in the Navy I found NavyForMoms in searching for answers to his future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. We have many moms on the site and benefit greatly from their point of views and we are willing to help the moms in any way we can. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your Sailor. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank Matt for his service for me and thanks again for joining us.

    Sincerely, E.G.

  • Welcome to NavyDads Rose! I'm sure you'll NavyDads.com useful, educational and informative. Please explore the site and make some Navy friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start a few. I certainly have! If you have any comments, questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...be sure to post them! I'm sure someone here can answer your questions or concerns or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors in the family - my son Eric (AM3) is stationed on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat (MC3) just completed her five-year enlistment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Rose this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and be sure to let us know how Matt is doing! We do ask that you remember that we talk about the Navy here and we must keep the security and safety of our sailors in mind at all times. On the right side of every NavyDads page is an area we call About This Site. Please take a minute and read through the Operations Security (OPSEC) link and the NavyDads Guidelines link. And stop by the NavyDads offical store- Navyoutfitters.com. Show your support for NavyDads by wearing the latest in NavyDads attire. Best Regards- Paul
