  • Thanks Lauren!
  • Hi Lauren, all you need is the ships address to send them anything. if any of you have that you schould not have to go through the ombudsman. I will try to find that info on my end because I know its hard to find sometimes.
  • Lauren your welcome. Yes, it's been busy. We took our Sailor to the airport at 4:00am this morning. Evan was home for a week and now he's back in SD. He is leaving again on another deployment so it'll be 7 months before we see him again. So I haven't been on the computer much this week. Also my wife's B'day is today. I'm not sure of what you mean by making a badge, that might be new to me too. I know we have a members badge but I'm not sure of one for the groups. If you can point me in the right direction or show me an example then I might be able to figure it out.
  • No worries sweetie...I know you are totally busy...it will keep till you are ready
  • Hi lauren
  • Oh I hope he is on tiger cruise...that is so cool. I know that if I had the chance I would do a tiger cruise to see Paul. I really miss him. He is always so busy. He hardly has time to write. LOL...he should have been on a sub...I might hear from him more often. I miss you too my friend. I am so glad to see your post on N4M's. I really like the badge idea. Let me know what you find out. I may have a friend that knows how to do it.
  • cool!! What did they say? Can we post our fundraising stuff? I know that at N4M's how up tight they are. I don't think they are like that here but I so appreciate you asking. Thanks!
  • Welcome to NavyDads Lauren! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what he is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is almost half-way into a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat just returned from her seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). And Lauren this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Kellen is doing! Best Regards- Paul
  • Lauren, Welcome Aboard! and thanks for joining us dads. I'm so glad to have the moms on here to keep us men in line. We will help in any way we can. So please jump right in share concerns, join groups, and show off your sailor. I hope this site will benefit you during your sons journey in the Navy. Thank your son for his service for me and thanks again for joining. Sincerely, EG
